An established St. Louis litigation firm is seeking an experienced labor & employment litigator (7–11 years call) to join its growing team.


The Opportunity

This is a strong opportunity for a lawyer with substantial employment litigation experience who is ready to step into active matters and contribute immediately.

The ideal candidate will be confident managing litigation files independently, handling client relationships, and operating within a fast-paced litigation environment.


Practice Focus

  • Employment litigation
  • Labor disputes
  • Workplace-related litigation matters


Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage labor & employment litigation files
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and related court materials
  • Handle client communications and litigation strategy development
  • Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court proceedings
  • Collaborate with litigation team members on complex disputes as needed


Ideal Candidate

  • 7–11 years of employment litigation experience
  • Strong courtroom and advocacy skills
  • Ability to independently manage files and move matters forward efficiently
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and client communication abilities
  • Portable book of business is welcomed, but not required for candidates who can immediately contribute and hit the ground running


Compensation

  • Salary range: $165,000–$200,000, depending on experience and background
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package
