The Sales Manager will be a key leader responsible for driving revenue growth, leading and developing the sales team, and expanding the company's market presence across all lines of business. Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue and organic growth in commercial front-end load (FEL) and roll-off service lines.

  • Attend public sector bid meetings and support senior leadership in developing new business opportunities with municipalities and government agencies.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives to strengthen market position and support expansion into new territories.

  • Partner with operations to improve route profitability and overall service performance from a sales perspective.

  • Lead by example in outside sales efforts by personally securing new business while supporting team-wide growth.

  • Work with marketing resources to increase brand awareness and align sales and marketing activity for maximum impact.

  • Track and manage renewals for existing accounts to maximize retention and profitability.

  • Meet with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional growth opportunities.

  • Support public sector and major account management efforts in partnership with company leadership.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor sales representatives in prospecting, consultative selling, account management, pricing, and negotiation.

  • Drive performance through consistent training, accountability, and skill development.

  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and continued development of new sales team members.

  • Foster a culture of ownership, professionalism, accountability, and customer excellence within the sales organization.

  • Develop and manage key performance indicator (KPI) reporting for sales activity and provide actionable insight to executive leadership.

  • Maintain ownership of the company CRM platform, ensuring accurate pipeline management and data integrity across the sales team.

  • Provide sales performance reports, forecasts, and market feedback to senior leadership on a consistent basis.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in waste management, environmental services, or related industries.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading or managing sales professionals.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and customer relationship skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools.

  • Ability to lead by example in both sales execution and team development.
