The Opportunity 🏛️
Our client is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their busy practice group. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of litigation matters — including general business and commercial litigation, insurance defense, medical malpractice, probate litigation, domestic relations, construction litigation, and employment matters — while working closely with attorneys throughout the firm.

What You'll Do

  • Research and analyze the law on complex issues and write memoranda for submission to a supervising attorney
  • Synthesize legal research and analysis into well-crafted pleadings
  • Draft and respond to written discovery requests
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Appear at mediations and in court for motion hearings and trials
  • Interact directly with clients and opposing counsel

Qualifications 📋

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the New Hampshire Bar
  • At least 4 years of experience as a licensed attorney in a law firm setting
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Strong legal research skills
