Position Overview: gpac is partnering with a highly established manufacturing leader with over 60 years of industry success to confidentially hire an experienced Manufacturing Electrician to join its collaborative maintenance team.

This is a hands-on, highly technical role designed for a skilled technician who enjoys solving complex problems and working with a wide array of industrial electrical and automated production equipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on PLCs, VFDs, motors, control systems, and electrical distribution panels.
  • Diagnose and service 480V three-phase electrical power systems, breakers, feeders, and machine control circuits.
  • Troubleshoot electro-pneumatic and hydraulic systems integrated with automated production machinery.
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize unscheduled downtime.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Support new equipment installations, electrical retrofits, and facility infrastructure upgrades.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as an industrial/manufacturing electrician in an automated production environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting 480V power, motor controls, VFDs, and PLC systems.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and single-line diagrams.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a commitment to plant safety and operational uptime.
  • Collaborative mindset with the desire to learn new technologies and advance within the organization.
