This role is open to candidates from Oklahoma and Arkansas with credit or lending background. 

Position Summary:
The Chief Credit Officer is responsible for leading the bank’s credit function, including credit risk management, underwriting standards, and loan portfolio quality. This role ensures sound credit practices, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the bank’s overall risk appetite and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee credit policy, underwriting, and approval processes
• Manage and monitor the overall loan portfolio for quality and performance
• Lead credit risk strategy and ensure adherence to risk tolerance
• Partner with executive leadership on lending strategy and growth initiatives
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Mentor and develop credit and lending teams

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of commercial credit and lending experience
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Strong knowledge of credit risk, underwriting, and portfolio management
• Experience working with regulators and executive leadership
