SENIOR SIGNAGE ESTIMATOR - REMOTE

A rapidly growing and well regarded Architectural Sign Company near Atlanta, GA is looking to add a well tenured Senior Signage Project Estimator to their team!  This growing company offers their clients valuable knowledge and expertise in Custom Architectural Signage.  Due to the recent growth of the company, there is an opportunity for an Experienced Signage Estimator to join the team. They are looking for someone who is driven to succeed but also has the ability to establish lasting relationships with their clients, both externally and internally. Position Overview: As a Senior Signage Estimator, you will play a crucial role in accurately assessing project costs, providing competitive bids, and ensuring the profitability of our projects. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in the signage industry, you will leverage your expertise to analyze project specifications, collaborate with various stakeholders, and deliver precise estimates that align with our commitment to excellence.

Senior Signage Estimator Responsibilities:

  1. Project Analysis: Thoroughly review project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to gain a comprehensive understanding of client requirements.

  2. Cost Estimation: Utilize your extensive knowledge of materials, labor, and production processes to prepare accurate cost estimates for signage projects.

  3. Bid Preparation: Prepare and submit competitive bids, ensuring compliance with project specifications and deadlines.

  4. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, design, and production teams to gather necessary information and insights, fostering effective communication throughout the estimation process.

  5. Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and maximize profitability.

  6. Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks and challenges associated with each project, providing recommendations to mitigate these risks.

  7. Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of project budgets, ensuring cost control measures are implemented.

  8. Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and material pricing fluctuations to inform accurate estimations.

Senior Signage Estimator Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field strongly preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating within the signage industry.
  3. Proven track record of successfully bidding and securing projects.
  4. Strong knowledge of signage materials, fabrication techniques, and industry best practices.
  5. Ability to generate, track and administer key estimating KPI's and process improvements.
  6. Proficient in estimating software and tools.
  7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  8. Strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
  9. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
