Associate Attorney – Labor & Employment Law (Dallas, TX)
A premier, full-service law firm is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join its highly specialized Labor & Employment Law Practice Group in Dallas. This partnership-track position offers the opportunity to work directly with leading practitioners and build a sophisticated employment law practice, fully backed by the resources of a major firm.
Key Responsibilities
Represent employers across a full spectrum of employment-related matters, including advice and counsel, compliance training, and active litigation.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda with a high degree of precision and clarity.
Manage independent caseloads while collaborating closely with senior partners on complex, high-stakes matters.
Provide strategic legal counsel to corporate clients regarding workplace policies, federal/state labor regulations, and risk mitigation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 3 to 6 years of dedicated experience in Labor & Employment law. Preference will be given to candidates whose practice has heavily focused on the employer/management side.
Litigation Skills: Proven courtroom and litigation experience, including conducting discovery, taking depositions, and handling motion practice.
Bar Admission: Must be actively licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Admission to the federal district courts in Texas is strongly preferred.
Education & Skills: Strong academic credentials paired with exceptional legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
Position Structure & Location
Type: Full-time, Partnership-Track.
Location: This position is primarily in-person, based in a modern office space conveniently located in the heart of downtown Dallas.
