What you'll do:
- Build meaningful relationships with families while helping them navigate important end-of-life decisions
- Lead arrangement conferences and create personalized funeral, memorial, and cremation experiences
- Coordinate all aspects of services to ensure a smooth and exceptional family experience
- Serve as the primary point of communication between families and service providers
- Manage required documentation and compliance-related responsibilities with precision and attention to detail
- Deliver compassionate guidance and support throughout every stage of the process
- Contribute to a collaborative, family-focused culture alongside an experienced team
- Represent the firm with professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to excellence
Who you are:
- Funeral service experience in arrangements, directing, or family care preferred
- Current Funeral Director licensure is valued, though motivated apprentices will also be considered
- Relationship-driven professional with outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and committed to serving families with excellence
- Self-starter who can effectively balance priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional presence with a strong commitment to teamwork and service
- Valid driver's license required
- Open to making Southwest Colorado home and becoming part of the local community
