OPPORTUNITY
For a highly skilled and licensed Structural Engineer to join the firms management team as the head of the structural engineering department. Ideal candidate must have a proven record in the design and construction of complex structures. As the department manager and subject matter expert for structural engineering systems, oversee a talented team of engineers, manage project workflow, ensure the structural integrity of designs, and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary design teams. This position requires a visionary leader with strong technical expertise, management skills, and a passion for innovation in the field of structural engineering to join an integrated team of architects, engineers and project managers and engage in challenging projects up to $500 million for many of the biggest brands in the industry and North America.
POSITION
Reports to the President/CEO and manages a department of six. Serves as the Structural Engineer of Record (SEOR) for projects across the United States and Canada, ensuring compliance with all local, state, provincial, and federal regulations. Performs detailed structural analysis and design for a wide range of large-scale, complex projects within food and beverage, workplace, and science + technology market segments. Drives employee development and engagement through coaching, mentoring and training.
