About the Opportunity:
gpac, a trusted recruitment partner with over 30 years in the legal industry, is working with a well-established law firm in New Jersey seeking a talented Insurance Law Associate Attorney. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join a collaborative and respected team handling a broad range of insurance-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent insurance carriers and corporate clients in insurance coverage and litigation matters
Draft and review pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and dispositive motions
Conduct legal research and analysis of insurance policies and coverage issues
Participate in depositions, mediations, and court proceedings
Provide strategic counsel to clients on complex coverage matters
Qualifications:
2–5 years of insurance law, coverage litigation, or insurance defense experience
Admission to the New Jersey Bar (required)
Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases
Prior experience handling both first-party and third-party coverage matters is a plus
