Job Description

Associate- Construction Associate Attorney- Rocky Hill, CT:

• 5+ years of experience in construction law or related litigation.
• Representing clients in construction-related litigation, including, but not limited, claims for extra work, unforeseen conditions, change orders, defective plans and specifications, lost productivity, acceleration, extensions of time, delay damages, lien foreclosures and bond claims.
• Preparation of mechanic’s liens and bond claims.
• Drafting and negotiating construction contracts and related agreements.
• Advising clients on construction risk management, regulatory compliance, and insurance issues.
• Managing litigation caseloads, including depositions, court appearances, and motion practice, both independently and under supervision.
• Admission to practice in the State of Connecticut required.
• 1900 Billable hour requirement, Fully Remote.
• Salary: $125,000- $150,000 (DOE) + up to $25,000 in bonus.
