π° Compensation: $90,000 – $115,000+ (DOE — open to higher compensation for strong candidates)

About the Opportunity:
We’re looking for a seasoned Production Manager with a strong background in the steel industry—particularly structural, ornamental, or miscellaneous steel fabrication. This is a critical leadership role within our organization, focused on optimizing production workflows, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring on-time project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day production operations and scheduling
Lead, train, and manage shop personnel to ensure efficiency and safety
Coordinate closely with project managers, estimators, and the fabrication team
Ensure quality control procedures are followed throughout production
Continuously look for ways to improve processes, timelines, and output
Interpret and work with technical drawings and blueprints
Support implementation of new software systems (ERP/fabrication management tools)
Preferred Experience:
5–10 years of experience in steel fabrication production management
Background in structural, ornamental, or miscellaneous steel is strongly preferred
Proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, and standard Microsoft Office tools
Familiarity with Tekla PowerFab or Strumis, or similar ERP systems is a big plus
Understanding of fabrication machinery, including:
ALT Lightning Rail table (working with .dxg/.dwg files)
Bendtech Dragon A400 (uses 3D modeling files from Tekla and similar)
