Cabinet Salesperson/Designer

Our client is seeking an experienced Cabinet Salesperson/Designer to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a driven professional with both design expertise and established industry connections, who can bring a book of business with them. This is a base plus commission role.

  • Dedicated cabinet space within the retail store

  • Sell to cabinet designers, DIY customers, contractors, and home builders

  • Retail setting, highly customer-facing

Responsibilities

  • Manage cabinet sales from initial consultation through final installation

  • Work 80% in-office and 20% in the field, including site visits for measurements and customer meetings

  • Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in retail clients as well as contractors, remodelers, and builders

  • Use 20/20 Design software to create accurate, detailed layouts and project presentations

  • Prepare and process order entry, handle administrative tasks, and maintain ongoing customer communication

  • Deliver sales presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals to drive revenue growth

  • Travel as needed to meet with clients, contractors, or job sites

  • Earn commission based on gross profit dollars

Requirements

  • Proven ability to bring a book of business within the market

  • Proficiency with 20/20 Design software and cabinet design experience

  • Strong customer service skills—personable, professional, and solutions-oriented

  • Ability to present, sell, and close effectively

  • Attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Knowledge of the local contractor, remodeler, and building community
