Overiview:
We are working with a national litigationcompany with a strong insurance practice that represents clients across the U.S. in high-value insurance coverage disputes. The firm is looking to add an experienced Insurance Attorney (6+ years) to its Oakland office. Candidates at the Counsel or Partner level with a portable book of business are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
Handle insurance coverage litigation, including both first-party property and third-party liability coverage disputes.
Draft, review, and argue motions, coverage opinions, and litigation strategies.
Manage complex insurance cases from inception through resolution, including trial when appropriate.
Work closely with partners across the country on high-value insurance disputes.
Collaborate with colleagues to support the continued growth of the firm’s California insurance practice.
Qualifications
J.D. and active California bar license.
6+ years of insurance litigation experience with balanced exposure to both first- and third-party property coverage.
Strong litigation, motion practice, and case management skills.
Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively with a team.
A portable book of business is encouraged for senior-level applicants (Counsel/Partner).
