Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage HR operations including employee relations, policy development, performance management, and compliance.
• Build and enhance systems that support coaching, training, reviews, and succession planning.
• Partner with leadership to strengthen talent pipelines and promote a high-performance culture.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, compensation, and benefits programs for competitiveness and fairness.
• Administer payroll and HRIS systems while maintaining accurate employee data and reporting.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for employment law and compliance (EEOC, FMLA, ADA, wage/hour).
• Develop and manage Workers’ Compensation and safety training initiatives.
• Lead investigations and unemployment claims with consistency and integrity.
• Support ISO 9001 certification through policy documentation and employee training.
• Continuously improve HR communication, engagement, and systems company-wide.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• HR certification (SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of federal and Kentucky employment law.
• Proven ability to coach and develop teams while balancing strategy and hands-on execution.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS or ERP platforms.
