Job Description

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to join our expanding aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll coordinate production activities to ensure that customer demands are met efficiently, products meet quality standards, and schedules stay on track. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong analytical and organizational skills, and enjoys working collaboratively across departments to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to align with demand and delivery targets.

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions.

  • Determine required labor, materials, and equipment to meet production goals.

  • Coordinate workflow across departments to ensure timely completion of jobs.

  • Track progress and adjust plans to address delays or changing priorities.

  • Work closely with Quality, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to maintain smooth operations.

  • Maintain accurate records and production documentation.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an aerospace or aircraft machine shop environment.

  • Proven experience in production planning or scheduling.

  • Strong understanding of MRP II, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.

  • Skilled in reading blueprints and technical specifications.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

  • Strong math and analytical skills.

  • High school diploma required; additional education or certification preferred.

  • Reliable transportation and ability to work independently.
