Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation, preferably with exposure to dental malpractice defense. The ideal candidate is a confident litigator with strong analytical and writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage a caseload independently while working closely with senior attorneys.
Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of medical/dental malpractice defense cases from inception through trial preparation
Conduct and defend depositions of parties and experts
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Appear in court for conferences and motion practice
Perform legal research and prepare case evaluations and reports for clients and insurers
Collaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategies
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission to the New York State Bar (in good standing)
3–5 years of experience in medical malpractice or general liability defense (dental malpractice experience a plus)
Strong writing, research, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
