About the Role
As part of the risk management team, you’ll evaluate the financial strength of commercial, agricultural, real estate, and consumer loan applicants. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare loan write-ups that summarize risk, repayment sources, collateral values, and loan-to-value ratios
• Develop financial spreads, projections, and ratio analyses in Excel
• Recommend risk ratings and identify policy exceptions
• Support loan officers in structuring and pricing credit requests
• Present and explain findings during loan committee meetings (as a non-voting member)
• Assist with annual portfolio reviews and audit requests
• Monitor existing credit relationships and help identify emerging risk trends
• Serve as a resource for BSA/AML/OFAC awareness and regulatory compliance

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Agribusiness, or related field
• 2–4 years of credit analysis experience, ideally in a commercial or community bank
• Strong understanding of agricultural cash flow and collateral valuation
• Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to prepare clear, concise loan presentations
• Independent judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Familiarity with loan policy, loan operations, and credit risk management

Why This Role
• Focus on ag lending within a stable, community-rooted institution
• Direct collaboration with senior credit and lending leaders
• Flexibility for hybrid scheduling based on experience and performance
• Growth path into senior analyst or portfolio/loan officer roles

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary with full benefits package, commensurate with experience.

Schedule & Work Environment
