About the Role:
The Warehouse/Shop Supervisor will play a pivotal role in overseeing the repair operations and warehouse management within our organization. You will be responsible for coordinating repair activities, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient flow of products in and out of the warehouse. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair Shop Management: Supervise and lead a team of repair technicians to ensure timely and high-quality repairs. Schedule repair jobs, allocate resources, and monitor progress to meet deadlines. Implement and enforce safety protocols in the repair shop.
Warehouse Operations: Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, and organizing products. Conduct regular audits to track and maintain accurate inventory levels. Collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders and maintain optimal stock levels.
Team Leadership: Provide training, guidance, and support to repair shop and warehouse staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement efficiency measures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role within.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with repair shop procedures and warehouse management systems.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
3+ years of experience in repair or machine shop and/or warehouse management.
