2nd Shift Maintenance Technician – Food Manufacturing (Permanent)
Indiana | Monday–Friday | 2:30pm–11:30pm 🕝

gpac is partnering with a well-established, fast-growing national food manufacturing company that is adding 2nd Shift Maintenance Technicians at one of its Midwest facilities. This organization is known for strong food safety programs, modern equipment, and long-term career stability.

This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance technician with food manufacturing experience who wants consistent weekday hours, competitive pay, and growth potential.

What you’ll be doing 🛠️
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and packaging equipment
• Break down and reassemble equipment as needed for daily production
• Support changeovers, adjustments, and production start-ups
• Perform preventive maintenance, including daily and weekly inspections
• Assist with light electrical, plumbing, welding, and carpentry work
• Partner with the Maintenance Manager on equipment upgrades and efficiency improvements
• Work safely in a refrigerated food manufacturing environment ❄️

What we’re looking for ✅
• Food packaging equipment experience required
(Multivac tray sealers, Multivac thermoforms, Weber high-speed slicers, or similar)
• Experience with processing equipment and automation (Weber slicers, pick-and-pack systems, etc.)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing schematics
• HVAC experience a plus
• Reliable, safety-minded, and strong communication skills

Schedule ⏰
• 2nd shift, Monday–Friday
• 2:30pm–11:30pm
• Occasional overtime or weekends as needed

• $30–$40/hour, depending on experience
