VP of Finance in a big company? Make a move for the CFO title

gpac is partnering with a tried and true privately held, well-reputed company/client. This company is methodically growing and seeks a higher-level VP of Finance from a Construction industy company that has already reached the $500MM to $1 Billion in revenues hurdle. This CFO will have the know how and energy to lead this company along a similar path. This client is poised for scalable growth in the next decade!  will report to and work directly with the CEO and work with the department leaders in the company.

To be a leader in this company, you will need to be IN Office in the extended Quad Cities area. Relocation is required if not in the area.

The company is collaborative, focused, client and supply-demand-driven. You will lead the forecasting, strategy, investment portfolio management.

Requirements for CFO: 

  • CPA is highly desired. If you are crafting the accounting on financial statements with high revenue private or public construction companies in the Midwest, and want to work for a private company, this is an opportunity to make the switch Q1!
  • 5 years of public tax and audit experience in a PUBLIC firm (or Construction firm)
  • Direct experience for a Construction or subcontractor construction VP of or Director of Finance, or early-level CFO experience
  • Ability to forecast, recommend purchase, and keep up the best inventory value
  • History of supplying accurate reports, KPIs, financial statements to company members as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: presenting to ownership, boards, etc. Forecasting, strategy, M&A
  • Regulatory understanding and compliance
  • True ability to lead as an executive.
