Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Farm Technician

Location:South Dakota 

 Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and building systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment condition.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as maintenance equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment when necessary.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular business hours for emergency repairs.

 Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in [industry or sector].
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Valid driver's license.
