Food Safety & Quality Supervisor
Western Illinois | Full-Time | On-Site

This position is ideal for a food safety professional who enjoys being involved on the production floor, working closely with operations, and taking ownership of food safety systems — not a desk-only role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and support food safety and quality systems including HACCP, sanitation, prerequisite programs, plant environment, and finished products

  • Collaborate with operations to initiate, track, and close CAPAs

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate, and customer food safety requirements

  • Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits

  • Investigate food safety incidents and support corrective actions and documentation

  • Verify finished product release and maintain food safety records

  • Serve as backup SQF Practitioner when assigned

  • Support food safety and quality training and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of food safety or quality experience in food or feed manufacturing

  • PCQI certification required

  • HACCP certification required

  • Experience working closely with plant operations

  • Strong documentation and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Manufacturing environment experience

  • SQF experience or ability to obtain certification

Why This Role:

  • Full-time, stable manufacturing opportunity

  • Hands-on leadership role with plant visibility

  • Strong partnership with operations and leadership

  • Long-term growth potential in FSQ leadership

If you are a food safety professional looking for a visible, impactful role in a stable manufacturing environment, this opportunity is worth a conversation.
