Overview
We are seeking an experienced PEMB Drafter / Detailer to support the design and detailing of Pre-Engineered Metal Building systems. This is a fully remote position for a seasoned professional who understands PEMB workflows and can work independently while collaborating with engineering, fabrication, and project teams.
Responsibilities
Produce accurate PEMB drawings, details, and shop drawings using Metal Building Software (MBS)
Develop framing plans, elevations, sections, and connection details for metal building systems
Coordinate with engineering and project teams to ensure constructability and compliance
Revise drawings based on engineering comments, customer requirements, and project changes
Maintain drafting standards and ensure consistency across project deliverables
Support fabrication and erection teams with clear, accurate documentation
Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a remote environment
Qualifications
10+ years of experience drafting and detailing Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB)
Extensive hands-on experience with Metal Building Software (MBS)
Strong understanding of PEMB components, fabrication methods, and erection practices
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Prior experience working remotely is a plus
