Senior Litigation Associate

High-End Plaintiff-Side Litigation Practice | Connecticut

An elite Connecticut-based plaintiff litigation firm is seeking a Senior-Level Litigation Associate to join its top-tier trial team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-performance environment alongside some of the most respected litigators in the state, working on large, complex, and high-stakes civil matters.

This firm is already operating at the top of the market and is selectively adding attorneys who will elevate the practice even further. The right candidate is driven, intellectually sharp, and committed to building a long-term career at a premier litigation shop.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Active Connecticut Bar license

  • Strong command of Connecticut civil law and procedure

  • Outstanding academic credentials and/or elite professional pedigree

  • Demonstrated success handling complex civil litigation

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-expectations environment

  • Motivated, competitive, and deeply committed to excellence

  • Backgrounds as former AUSAs or attorneys with elite litigation training are highly valued

  • Open to attorneys currently on the defense side who are motivated to transition to plaintiff work and significantly increase earning potential

Practice Exposure May Include

  • Complex personal injury and catastrophic injury litigation

  • Medical malpractice

  • Product liability

  • Wrongful death

  • Commercial and other complex civil litigation

Note: The firm is open to candidates from any civil litigation background who meet the caliber expected at this level.

Compensation & Incentives

  • Base salary: $175,000 – $225,000

  • Aggressive incentive program tied to firm success

  • Additional discretionary bonus

  • No billable hour requirements — success is measured by impact and results

This role is best suited for an attorney seeking to cement their place at a premier firm, contribute meaningfully to major cases, and grow alongside a dominant plaintiff-side practice.
