A leading insurance defense firm in the Jacksonville metro area is seeking a litigation-ready General Liability Associate Attorney with 2 or more years of experience. This role is for a trial-focused attorney who wants to take real ownership of files, deepen their courtroom experience, and grow within a high-performance litigation team.
What You'll Do:
Manage a caseload of premises liability, bodily injury, and commercial General Liability (GL) matters from pre-suit through trial.
Conduct depositions, hearings, and motion practice with autonomy.
Collaborate directly with senior partners and clients to drive case strategy.
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Who We're Looking For:
2+ years of litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense or general liability.
Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
Strong interest in courtroom exposure and trial strategy.
Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
$120,000–$140,000 base salary, plus bonus opportunities.
