Corporate/Transactional Associate – Mid-Level (Bethesda, MD – Hybrid)
Do you thrive on helping business owners succeed—not just closing deals, but becoming a trusted legal and strategic advisor?
A highly respected, full-service commercial law firm in Bethesda is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney (3–6 years experience) to join its dynamic Business Transactions group. This is an opportunity to step into a true advisory role—working directly with mid-sized businesses and innovative entrepreneurs across a wide range of industries.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
Meaningful, Ongoing Client Relationships – You won’t just touch a deal and move on. Our attorneys often serve as general counsel to business clients, advising on contracts, disputes, structuring, and strategy.
Work That Builds Mastery – Handle M&A transactions, commercial contract negotiations, entity formation, and high-level business structuring, with regular exposure to complex and high-stakes matters.
Collaborative, Low-Ego Culture – Join a team that values mentorship, teamwork, and mutual respect—not hierarchy or politics.
Hybrid Flexibility – Be part of an engaged in-office team 2 days per week.
Sophisticated Clients Without Big Law Burnout – Serve respected mid-sized businesses and rising start-ups with real legal needs, minus the endless-hour grind.
Requirments:
2–7 years of relevant corporate transactional experience in a private law firm and/or tax agency
Strong drafting experience in M&A, contracts, and entity documents
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Maryland bar preferred; D.C. or Virginia a plus
A collaborative mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and client-first attitude
