We are seeking a motivated Civil Litigation Attorney to manage a diverse caseload of civil law areas. You will handle all phases of litigation, from initial investigation and pleadings through discovery, settlement negotiations, and trial.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management: Lead civil cases from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Advocacy: Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
Legal Strategy: Conduct thorough research to develop innovative litigation strategies and mitigate legal risks.
Client Relations: Advise clients on their legal rights, obligations, and potential case outcomes to ensure informed decision-making.
Qualifications
Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensing: Active Bar membership in Indiana and in good standing.
Experience: 3 years of experience in business/civil litigation and/or high net worth estate planning
Technical Skills: Proficiency in legal research tools (Westlaw/LexisNexis) and case management software.
