About the Opportunity

A well-established civil litigation firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its Personal Injury department. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with approximately two years of personal injury experience who is looking to further develop litigation skills while working alongside experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative environment.

The firm offers meaningful responsibility, hands-on litigation exposure, and long-term professional growth. Compensation will be determined based on the individual candidate’s experience and overall market value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage personal injury matters through all phases of litigation
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
  • Conduct legal research and case analysis
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court personnel
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and resolution

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active Connecticut Bar license (required)
  • Approximately 1–3 years of personal injury litigation experience (ideally ~2 years)
  • Massachusetts Bar admission is a plus, but not required
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor with strong client communication skills
