We are Hiring: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in Minnesota

Our small-house setting offers a unique opportunity to provide personalized, one-on-one care in a warm, homelike environment. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) who is passionate about leadership, quality care, and supporting staff in creating meaningful experiences for our residents.

Position: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Location: Bloomington, Minnesota
Schedule: Full-time, with on-call rotation support as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations and ensuring the highest quality of resident care
  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff while fostering teamwork and professional growth
  • Participate in care planning, assessments, and resident meetings to ensure individualized, person-centered care
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies
  • Monitor and maintain accurate documentation of resident care, assessments, and treatment plans
  • Support staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
  • Act as a liaison between residents, families, and the clinical team to ensure clear communication and excellent service
  • Promote a positive, nurturing, and respectful environment conducive to both staff satisfaction and resident well-being

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the State of Minnesota
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in assisted living, long-term care, or memory care settings
  • Strong clinical knowledge and a passion for person-centered care
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team with empathy and professionalism
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and basic computer applications
