Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee roadway and bridge construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in DOT, municipal, or transportation infrastructure projects and thrives in a fast-paced heavy civil environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage roadway and bridge projects from award through closeout

  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasting

  • Coordinate with owners, DOTs, inspectors, engineers, and subcontractors

  • Review plans, specifications, and contract documents

  • Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications

  • Work closely with Superintendents to plan work sequencing and manpower

  • Track project progress and report financial and schedule performance

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in heavy civil construction

  • Proven experience on roadway and bridge projects

  • Strong understanding of DOT specifications and procedures

  • Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, and schedules

  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, HeavyBid, or similar)

  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred

  • Valid driver’s license
