Senior Project Manager – Transportation
Location: Chicagoland Region
Compensation: $110,000+

Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will lead and manage a diverse portfolio of transportation projects, including roadway construction, rehabilitation and reconstruction, traffic signal design, and planning studies. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple transportation projects simultaneously
Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets
Develop and maintain project schedules
Lead and mentor project teams
Coordinate with clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders
Support marketing and business development efforts
Ensure compliance with applicable standards and procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of transportation engineering experience
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Strong knowledge of IDOT standards, including Phase I / Phase II design and MFT requirements (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities
Valid driver’s license
