A respected New York law firm is seeking a dedicated Medical Malpractice Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys complex medical-legal matters, direct client interaction, and hands-on litigation work.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of medical malpractice cases, including discovery, depositions, motions, negotiations, and trial preparation

• Analyze medical records and collaborate with medical experts to build strong case strategies

• Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and settlement materials

• Attend court conferences, depositions, mediations, and hearings

• Communicate with clients, experts, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel with professionalism

• Manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively within the firm

Qualifications

• 3+ years of medical malpractice litigation experience

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, standards of care, and litigation strategy

• Excellent analytical, writing, and research skills

• Ability to manage cases autonomously

• Experience conducting and defending depositions

• Licensed and in good standing with the New York State Bar

• Strong communication and client management skills
