Job Description

A respected and growth-focused grain handling and storage solutions company is seeking an experienced Crew Leader to manage on-site construction crews specializing in grain bin, millwright, and related ag infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily activities of on-site construction crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards
  • Oversee the erection of grain bins, legs, conveyors, dryers, and other grain handling systems
  • Coordinate site logistics, equipment, and materials in conjunction with project managers and support teams
  • Train and mentor crew members in safety protocols, construction techniques, and productivity best practices
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including safety logs, progress reports, and timesheets
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and subcontractors on-site, ensuring clear communication and high-quality service
  • Ensure compliance with company safety standards and OSHA regulations at all times

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience leading crews in grain bin or agricultural construction, millwright, or steel erection industries
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage crews of 3-8 team members on active job sites
  • Strong knowledge of grain storage systems, material handling equipment, and construction best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • CDL or willingness to obtain is preferred
  • Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays and extended projects out of state
