One of our top clients in California is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex insurance defense litigation matters, including but not limited to general liability, premises liability, and automobile accidents.

Responsibilities:

• Represent insurance carriers in civil litigation matters, including pre-trial motions, discovery, depositions, and trial proceedings.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective legal strategies.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in a timely and accurate manner.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Effectively communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Manage a diverse caseload while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 2-10 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Strong knowledge of California civil procedure and evidence rules.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
