Job Description

A well-established and respected general contractor in the area is seeking a motivated Estimator to join its growing team. This company has been building a reputation for decades on high-quality projects, community impact, and strong employee relationships. They are continuing to expand and looking for an individual who wants to take their career in construction estimating to the next level.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Review project documents including plans, specs, and addendums to determine project requirements

  • Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment

  • Assist in preparing complete estimates for a variety of commercial and institutional projects

  • Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure accurate pricing and scope coverage

  • Support senior team members in bid preparation and presentation

  • Help maintain and organize historical cost data for future project planning

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in construction estimating (all levels encouraged to apply)

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Familiarity with estimating software, spreadsheets, and digital takeoff tools 

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Strong communication skills and a desire to grow in the construction industry
