Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Funeral Director to join our team. This role focuses on guiding families through every step of the arrangement process with care, professionalism, and respect.
Responsibilities:
Meet with families to compassionately arrange disposition and memorialization services.
Present and explain all available service and merchandise options.
Prepare and file all necessary documentation, including death certificates, burial and cremation permits, and obituaries.
Use computer systems to record vital information, prepare contracts, and communicate with families and colleagues.
Plan, schedule, coordinate, and conduct visitations and funeral services.
Requirements:
Current PA Funeral Director license or ability to obtain through reciprocity.
Minimum 2 years of experience making funeral arrangements.
Strong belief in delivering the highest level of customer service.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Openness to continuous learning and professional growth.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Computer proficiency.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
