Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation - Irvine, CA

A well-established civil litigation defense firm in Irvine, CA is seeking Associate Attorneys with 1–10 years of experience. The firm primarily handles personal injury cases but will also consider candidates with strong general civil litigation experience—plaintiff or defense. The firm is known for a supportive culture, strong mentoring, and opportunities for growth, and junior attorneys gain early trial experience as partners bring them to court. Flexible hybrid work arrangements are available for associates, while more senior attorneys may have remote work options.

  • Manage a personal caseload in civil litigation matters.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategy and provide updates to clients.
  • Participate in all phases of litigation from inception through resolution.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active California Bar membership in good standing.
  • 1–10 years of civil litigation experience; personal injury experience preferred.
  • Experience on plaintiff or defense side considered.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
