Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to support the design and development of custom machinery and equipment. This role requires strong SolidWorks skills and  machine design experience, with the ability to take projects from concept through manufacturing, ensuring designs are practical, safe, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks.
  • Develop mechanical assemblies and components for custom equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers, manufacturing, and production teams to ensure manufacturability.
  • Prepare documentation including BOMs, fabrication drawings, and assembly instructions.
  • Support continuous improvement by refining designs for performance, efficiency, and safety.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in machine design.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks with experience designing machinery or mechanical systems.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and fabrication.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate design intent effectively.
  • Experience preparing technical documentation for production release.

Preferred: Familiarity with ergonomic design, FEA tools, or ISO/quality systems.
