Labor & Employment Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation

A respected and growing mid-sized law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its team. This full-time, on-site role offers the chance to work on meaningful matters with supportive mentorship, a collegial environment, and a strong focus on work-life balance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Handle labor & employment litigation and administrative matters (EEOC, DOL, NLRB)

  • Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and deposition summaries

  • Advise clients on labor law compliance and risk mitigation

  • Attend hearings, client meetings, and internal firm initiatives

  • Maintain time entries and support the firm’s professional development and recruiting efforts  



Key Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Kentucky

  • 2–3 years of experience in labor & employment law and civil litigation

  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology tools
