Overview: We’re seeking a motivated Bankruptcy & Collections Attorney with experience representing creditors in bankruptcy and collections matters for a top client firm. This role involves managing a high-volume caseload, attending court hearings, and negotiating resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent creditors in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases

  • Draft motions, pleadings, proofs of claim, and objections

  • Attend hearings, mediations, and 341 meetings

  • Manage case strategy and negotiate settlements

  • Communicate with clients, trustees, and opposing counsel

  • Stay current on bankruptcy laws and compliance

Qualifications:

  • J.D. and active Texas law license

  • 2-5+ years of bankruptcy or collections experience

  • Strong understanding of the Bankruptcy Code and creditors’ rights

  • Excellent litigation, negotiation, and organizational skills
