About the Company:

A well-established interior finishes company specializing in premium cabinetry, flooring, and custom home solutions. We serve residential and commercial clients with a commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and outstanding customer service. We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our team and drive operational excellence.

Position Summary:

The General Manager (GM) will oversee all day-to-day operations, including sales, project management, vendor relations, installation, and customer service. This role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of the interior finishes industry, particularly in cabinetry and flooring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily business operations, including showroom, warehouse, and installation teams.

  • Develop and execute business strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee sales and project pipelines; support the sales team in meeting targets.

  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery.

  • Maintain quality control across all projects and ensure compliance with design specifications.

  • Hire, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture.

  • Implement and improve operational systems, processes, and best practices.

  • Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and report KPIs to ownership.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in the interior finishes industry (preferably in cabinets and/or flooring).

  • 3+ years in a senior leadership or general management role.

  • Proven experience managing teams, operations, and budgets in a construction or design-build environment.

  • Strong knowledge of industry products, materials, and installation processes.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in project management and CRM tools (e.g., Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore).

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Interior Design, or related field preferred.
