About the Company:
A well-established interior finishes company specializing in premium cabinetry, flooring, and custom home solutions. We serve residential and commercial clients with a commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and outstanding customer service. We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead our team and drive operational excellence.
Position Summary:
The General Manager (GM) will oversee all day-to-day operations, including sales, project management, vendor relations, installation, and customer service. This role requires a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of the interior finishes industry, particularly in cabinetry and flooring.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage daily business operations, including showroom, warehouse, and installation teams.
Develop and execute business strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Oversee sales and project pipelines; support the sales team in meeting targets.
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery.
Maintain quality control across all projects and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Hire, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performance culture.
Implement and improve operational systems, processes, and best practices.
Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and report KPIs to ownership.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in the interior finishes industry (preferably in cabinets and/or flooring).
3+ years in a senior leadership or general management role.
Proven experience managing teams, operations, and budgets in a construction or design-build environment.
Strong knowledge of industry products, materials, and installation processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficient in project management and CRM tools (e.g., Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore).
Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Interior Design, or related field preferred.
