Job Description

We are partnered with a respected home builder based in Austin, dedicated to crafting quality homes and exceptional communities.

Financial Analyst will play a key role in analyzing financial performance, developing budgets and forecasts, and providing insights to drive profitability across our projects. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both field and office teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and pro forma models
  • Analyze job cost reports and identify variances between estimated and actual costs
  • Develop cash flow projections for current and future projects
  • Support month-end close and prepare financial statements and management reports
  • Collaborate with project managers and leadership to monitor project profitability
  • Assist with lender reporting, draws, and compliance documentation
  • Conduct market and financial analysis to support land acquisitions and development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst in construction, homebuilding, or real estate
  • Experience with construction accounting or ERP software
  • Strong understanding of project accounting, cash flow management, and job costing
