Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on Ag Test Technician to join our team and play a key role in developing and testing prototype agricultural equipment. This unique role blends mechanical know-how, field experience, and creative problem-solving. You'll work both in the lab and in real-world field conditions—testing, evaluating, and helping refine equipment based on feedback from growers and operators.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building, testing, and making a direct impact on the future of ag technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and test prototype ag equipment in both lab and field environments

  • Travel to client sites (domestic and international) to perform testing and gather operator feedback

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to modify or improve equipment based on performance results

  • Fabricate parts or components as needed to support custom testing needs

  • Document test data, analyze performance, and report findings

  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot testing equipment

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong mechanical background—hands-on experience with ag or heavy equipment preferred

  • Comfortable working in lab and field conditions, including travel

  • Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics

  • Mechanical Engineering degree preferred, but experienced technicians are strongly encouraged to apply

  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a team shaping the future of farming

  • Work with cutting-edge technology in a creative and challenging environment

  • Travel, variety, and the chance to make real-world impact

  • Competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth
