An established and highly respected Connecticut law firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a role with a book of business, providing immediate client interaction and revenue potential. The firm is looking for attorneys with 5+ years of experience, but welcomes senior attorneys as well, offering revenue-sharing opportunities for those at a higher level.

This position is ideal for an attorney who thrives in complex real estate transactions and is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive, professional, and client-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate contracts including purchase/sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and development agreements.
  • Manage transactions from start to finish, ensuring timely and efficient closings.
  • Provide counsel on zoning, land use, title, and due diligence matters.
  • Represent clients in financing arrangements, including mortgage lending and secured transactions.
  • Maintain and expand an existing book of business while developing new client relationships.
  • Deliver high-quality strategic advice to developers, investors, lenders, and business owners.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar membership in the State of Connecticut (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial real estate law.
  • Strong track record managing complex transactions.
  • Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Compensation & Benefits:

    • Competitive base salary: $140,000 – $180,000 annually (DOE).
