We’re hiring a Compactor/Baler Technician to join our field service team. If you're mechanically inclined, hands-on, and enjoy troubleshooting independently, this role offers a rewarding career path with room to grow.
In this position, you’ll install, maintain, and repair compactors, balers, and other recycling systems at customer sites. You’ll be a key part of our operation—ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently while delivering outstanding service.
Compactor/Baler Technician Key Responsibilities:
Travel to locations for equipment installation, diagnostics, and repairs
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
Maintain accurate service records and reports
Support customers with training and technical guidance on-site
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams
Compactor/Baler Technician Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a variety of field environments
Self-starter comfortable working independently and managing a service route
Flexibility to travel and work off-hours based on customer needs
