Commercial Lines Producer

Location: – Remote, Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Producer. This role focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with owners, managers, and investors in multi-family housing, apartment complexes, condominium associations, and mixed-use properties. You will be responsible for growing our habitational book of business through proactive prospecting, industry networking, and delivering customized insurance solutions that address the unique exposures in this market segment.

Responsibilities:
• Identify and target property owners, property management firms, and real estate investment groups
• Network within apartment association events, property management conferences, and local real estate circles
• Assess and design insurance programs that may include property, general liability, umbrella/excess liability, equipment breakdown, crime, and loss of rents/business income coverage
• Work closely with underwriters to present complete submissions and negotiate favorable terms
• Provide annual renewal reviews and policy updates reflecting property improvements, valuation changes, and new exposures
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all client service needs
• Stay informed on insurance carrier appetites, market rate trends, building code changes, and emerging risks in habitational properties
• Advise clients on risk control strategies to improve insurability and reduce losses

Qualifications:
• Active Property and Casualty license
• Minimum 5 years of commercial lines sales experience, preferably with habitational accounts
• Established relationships in the real estate and property management sectors strongly preferred
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with agency management systems such as AMS360, Applied Epic, or similar, and CRM tools
