We’re seeking a sharp and reliable Insurance Defense Attorney to join our Boston-based litigation team. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys fast-paced litigation, values precision and strategy, and is comfortable managing files on behalf of insurance carriers and self-insured clients.
What You’ll Do:
Defend clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters, including personal injury, premises liability, automobile, and general liability claims
Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
Appear in court for hearings, conferences, mediations, and trials
Communicate regularly with insurance carriers and insured clients
Analyze coverage issues and develop effective defense strategies
Maintain accurate time records and comply with billing guidelines
What We’re Looking For:
JD from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar
2+ years of insurance defense or related litigation experience
Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
Professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail
