A growing commercial construction firm in Chicago is hiring a Project Manager with experience in earthworks, demolition, and excavation for commercial builds. Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability.
Responsibilities:
Manage commercial construction projects with a focus on earthworks, demolition, and excavation.
Plan, schedule, and control project activities.
Collaborate with Estimating, Operations, and Permit teams on project planning and quantities.
Oversee budgets, costs vs. estimates, schedules, resource allocation, and profitability.
Maintain professional client, subcontractor, and consultant relationships.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company procedures.
Complete project closeouts and timely documentation.
Qualifications:
6–10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, earthworks, demolition, and excavation.
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
