We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment and machinery used in manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions; implement effective repair solutions.
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers to provide updates and technical support.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repair activities.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Service Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with hands-on experience in hydraulic systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
